What kids say....

..when we are not listening! :D

The kids at my school are finally recognizing that I wear a long dress and scarf everyday. So, a group of 3-5 year olds are sitting in a huddle. I overheard them talking about my clothes "Saba wears a dress everyday." "She never wears a shirt." "yeah," "and she wears a dress hood everyday." By that time, I was tickled pink by the conversation and the fact that they called my hijab a 'dress hood'.

Kids! gotta love!

  1. Kids can be so creative with words.

I once had an ESL student from China refer to snowflakes as "snowflowers."
